飼い主はヨシとアキ。神奈川県川崎市在住。
ワッフルは、私たちの家族だった犬。
フラットコーテッドレトリーバーのメス、2004年4月28日 三重県生まれ。
2010年3月に慢性腎不全で亡くなってしまいました。
このブログは、犬と私たちの暮らしを綴っていきます。
このブログのタイトル、"she smiles and it's a rainbow"は、Ben Folds Fiveの「KATE」という曲の中の1フレーズ。
Ben Foldsは、私たちの大好きなミュージシャン。
(Ben Folds Fiveは2000年10月に解散。Ben Foldsはアメリカのミュージシャンで、Ben Folds Fiveのボーカル・ピアノ・作詞作曲を担当。現在はソロ活動。)
ケイトの名前の由来の一つは、この曲から来ています。
ケイトという名前は...
はつらつとした元気な女の子のイメージで(私たちの中で)、
日本語でも呼べる名前で。
とは言え、せっかくスウェーデンからやって来るので、外国の女の子らしくもあり、日本の子らしくもあり、という名前を付けたくて。
そんな由来です。
このブログは日本語と、出来る範囲の英語で書いていきます。
Kate is our dog's name.

Kate was born in 12th June,2010.
Kate's masters are Yoshi and Aki.
We are living in Japan(Kawasaki-City, Kanagawa Prefecture).
Waffle was our family's dog.
She was a black female Flat Coated Retriever, born on 28th April,2004.
She died with the renal insufficiency March,2010.
This blog is a journal of our family's life.
This blog's title "she smiles and it's a rainbow" is passage from Ben Folds Five's song "KATE".
Ben Folds is one of our favorite musician.
(Ben Folds Five disbanded in October 2000.Ben Folds is an American singer-songwriter and the former frontman of the alternative rock band Ben Folds Five.)
The song "KATE" is one of responsible for her name.
"Kate" conjure up the image of bright-eyed and bushy-tailed girl for us.
"Kate" also Japanese name.
We want to name foreignness and Japaneseness.
Because she comes from Sweden.
Hence the name.
We will write this blog in Japanese and English.(But my English isn't enough.)
