写真がたくさん届いた。
ケイトはとても良い環境で、のびのび育っているみたい！

Kate lives in beautiful surroundings.

梅雨が明けた。

ベランダのお花に水をやっていたら、お隣さんのベランダに子供用プールが置いてあるのが見えた。
それも結構大きいやつ。

そういえば4年前の夏、我が家にも子供用プールがあった。
ワッフルの水遊び用に購入したのだ。

The rainy season has finished.

I noticed there was a mini-pool for kids at our neighbors house yesterday when I was watering flowers on our balcony.
It was on the large side and come to think of it, four years ago, we had a mini-pool for kids too.
We bought it for Waffle(our previous dog)!

今度はもう少し大きいのを買おうと思う。

I will buy a new one much bigger than it for Kate.

今年は梅酒2kgと梅干2kgを作った。(梅干は初挑戦！)

I made plum wine and umeboshi(pickled plum).

梅干しは、青梅と赤シソを塩漬けして。
梅雨が明けたら約三日間、日光にあてて干す。
その後再び、梅酢に戻す。

To make umeboshi, the Japanese pickle green plums in salt with red shiso leaves.
When rainy season ends,dry them in the sun and soak them again in the vinegar from the plums.

梅酒はだいたい3ヶ月で熟成する。

The plum wine is mature about 3 months.

6月中旬に作ったので...
ケイトがスウェーデンから来る頃、飲み頃になる。
ケイトが無事に日本に到着したら、それを祝して、梅酒で乾杯したい！

I made it in mid-June.
It will be ripe for drinking when Kate come from Sweden.
I would like to propose a toast to Kate!

子犬の写真が送られて来た。
黒くてつやつやでまんまるで...なんて可愛いんだ！

仲介してくださっているMEISTER JPより両親犬の写真が添付されてきた。

After all sorts of difficulties, one of breeders in Sweden decided to give
us a puppy. Daisuke, also the MEISTER JP owner, gave us photos of her
parents dogs.

こちらがお父さん。

This is father.

こちらがお母さん。

This is mother.

とても綺麗な両親。パピーは6月中旬に生まれているらしい。
早く会いたい！

Very beautiful parents.
Our partner puppy was already born on mid-June. We want to see her real soon!
